Hello All....I see new posters. Read back posts. They will help. Also read the codependent books along with healing spiritual books.
Until your addicted loved one decides on his own to survive all the jails,prisons, rehabs, meetings do absolutely nothing. Most do come out of it believe it or not. And most come out of it without rehab. True fact.
In the meanwhile you have to find your own health again...your emotional health and financial health. Otherwise you will go down the drain with them. I learned this the hard way...almost died twice from acute stress in 2009. I and only I had to make up my mind to live. I had to cease being addicted to my addicted kids. There were others in my life who needed me. Best wishes, Deb
