I am a recovering meth addict. Now I am also a Drug and Alcohol Counselor. My story is the same as everyone else with maybe a few less or more things involved. 4 out of my 6 children are also addicts 1 was murdered due to drug use.As I sit here and listen to "Beautiful Boy" again I remember all I and my family have been through. Life dose get better for some. It has for myself and my children as we are all recovering now. I lost my sight 2 years ago but this did not stop my life. I have since put myself through classes to become a PLADC and soon I start classes to become a LIMHP as I have seen that most if not all addicts also have mental health problems also. With out help for both problems the addiction will continue. I wish everyone good luck and I will be around if anyone needs to talk
