Rosie is Louie's goose. Rosie goes everywhere with him. To the beach and out for ice cream--wherever Louie goes, Rosie goes, too. But a much-loved goose won't stay new forever. Fortunately, Mom and Dad help to keep Rosie in good shape. One day Rosie gets caught in a wave and swept out to sea. Eventually she washes ashore a bit worse for wear, and even Mom and Dad fear that she will never be the same goose again. But Louie surprises even himself when he finds a way to help his special friend.
